Dear Friends & Neighbors,
The Town of Hamden will be celebrating its bicentennial on July 12-13, 2025 with a weekend of fun for all ages.
Volunteers meet at Hamden Town Hall on the last Thursday of every month to plan the event. The lineup currently includes baseball, a cornhole tournament, a parade, a 5K run/walk, a barn dance at the pavilion, food trucks, history tours, commemorative merch and much, much more.
The Town of Hamden has seeded some money to get us started, but we need more to make this event a success.
We need your help to put up new banners in town, to advertise, to fundraise and apply for matching grants, to pay for comfort stations, tents, and signage and most importantly to underwrite the events themselves.
