Minutes of the Town of Hamden Planning Board 09/29/2026 Meeting called to order at 7:32pm

Minutes from the August meeting were read. Sue moves to approve the minutes as read, seconded by Rachelle, all in favor, motion carried.
Old Business:
Micah Scobie submitted his completed application for a simple subdivision. They are subdividing 5.84 +/-acres to go with the house and the other 13.56 +/- acres will stay with Carolyn Scobie (Tax ID # 234.-1-18.4). Mike moves to classify this as SS-01-2026, seconded by Dennis, all in favor, motion carried. Dennis moves to approve SS-01-2026, seconded by Mike, all in favor, motion carried. Payment of $50.00 was received.
New Business:
The board received a certificate of compliance from the Delaware County Clerks office for David Moxley’s property TAX ID # 213.-1-27.
Fraser Battery Energy Storage System, Drazen the project manager from EDF and his team are reviewing the questions received from Hamden’s review committee. They will have them answered by October 13th. All of the questions and answers will be available on their website to be viewed. Drazen asked for clarification on some of the questions submitted from the review committee. Planning board members added additional questions in-regard to possible traffic route changes, and limit of disturbance at the intersection of Cobbe Cross and Hamden Hill.
Bret Sage shared that the town is still waiting on the Wind Energy Facilities Law to come back from the town attorney.
Sean shared that the town of Hamden was approved the SMIP for Bagley Brook.
Mike moves to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Dennis, all in favor, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:19pm.
